Gallery
Sink is a photography gallery, artist resource center, studio and
darkroom. Conceived and designed in 1998 for the educational support
and promotion of Fine Art Photography and other Fine Arts. Gallery
Sink represents and exhibits local and international cutting-edge
Fine Art Photography, not excluding occasional painting and sculpture.
Located just west from LoDo in a former mercantile section of the
historic Highland neighborhood over looking down town Denver. It is
owned and operated by photographer Mark Sink.
The primary mission of the Gallery Sink is to help fill the void of
exhibition and education for Fine Art Photography in the Front Range
area. The gallery aim is to achieve global awareness, bring the world
closer by exhibiting exciting work from around the world and showing
the world regional talent. Gallery Sink hosts photography workshops
with The Denver Darkroom, denverdarkroom.com and Working with Artists,
workingwithartists.org. There is an extensive photography and periodical
library reading area for public use. Gallery Sink is an artist resource
hub through this web site and online curatorial projects. |
